Seating will be limited and require ticketed access.  Tickets per graduate will be determined based on capacity of the venues (HISD Fieldhouses and NRG Arena). Additional information regarding number of tickets per graduate will be forthcoming.  Seating for all ceremonies will begin one hour before the assigned ceremony start time.  

Senior Attire

In keeping with the standards of this event, campus administration should ensure all graduates are dressed in appropriate attire under their academic regalia. Graduates must have their cap and gown upon entry into the venue. Any alteration to the graduation cap and gown is not allowed. These items may not be customized or decorated in any way. Only National Honor Society graduates are allowed to wear cords, medals, sashes, or badges. Ladies may want to consider wearing heels of modest height as they will be walking up steps and steep ramps to access/exit the stage.

Campus leadership should address additional behavioral standards for crossing the stage at their respective graduation rehearsals, to include prohibiting any poses, flips, dances or hand gestures other than a handshake while accepting the diploma. It is important to support your graduate in adhering to these expectations to ensure they can participate in this momentous occasion without risking their opportunity to walk the stage or rejoin the ceremony.
