Our Promises

  • The Houston Independent School District is delivering on promises made as part of the 2007 Bond. Twenty new schools are open, dozens of renovation projects have been completed, and safety and security upgrades have taken place at campuses across the district. While many students are already enjoying new and improved facilities, other projects are ongoing. HISD is determined to fulfill all commitments made to voters in 2007. Promises made are promises kept.
