    All HISD account users can manage and reset their own account passwords by setting up an HISD Access profile to verify their identity. The tool can also be utilized to reset your account if your ID is locked out after multiple unsuccessful login attempts - but remember, you must register before you are locked out. 

    CREATE A HISD ACCESS PROFILE: 

    If you have not set up a profile and you know your password and your account is not locked out, you can create a profile by clicking on the "Click here to setup your profile" button below.

PASSWORD & ACCOUNT RESET

  • After setting up your profile, you can reset your password from any internet enabled device at any time.

    MINIMUM PASSWORD REQUIREMENTS HAVE CHANGED

    Your password must be at least 16 characters long and include at least three of the following four character types:

    • Lower case letter [a-z]
    • Upper case letter [A-Z]
    • Numeric character [0-9]
    • Special character: ~!@#$%^&*()_+={}[]|\;:<>/?

    PASSWORD NOT WORKING? 

    • Please ensure that you have met the password requirements above
    • Check your internet connection
    • Verify your typing and ensure you are using the correct network username and password
    • Verify "Caps Lock" is off
    • Confirm you're on the correct login page
    • If you were logged in on multiple devices before your account was locked, please log out of all devices and wait several minutes before trying to log back in.
    • If you attempted to log in multiple times and got locked out of your account, please wait several minutes before trying again.
    • Restart your device
