CHILDREN AT RISK unveiled the Top 5 high, middle, and elementary schools in the Greater Houston Area, as well as the Top Gold Ribbon middle and elementary schools. The analysis for the 2022-2023 school year encompassed 1,311 public schools in the greater Houston area, including 786 elementary schools and 326 middle schools, evaluated across three primary domains:

1) Student Achievement (STAAR)

2) Campus Performance

3) Student Growth

It's essential to highlight that the Gold Ribbon School rankings specifically acknowledge high-performing, high-poverty traditional neighborhood campuses, with magnet schools and charter schools not considered for inclusion.

HISD T.H. Rogers School is ranked #1 out of the 326 middle schools and #5 out of 786 elementary schools.

In the statewide CHILDREN AT RISK report, we are ranked #5 of 2,001 middle schools and #11 of 3,929 elementary schools, earning an A+ rating in both categories.
