    Racquel Torres Rosenbalm is the principal of Sherman Elementary School. She previously served as an Assistant Principal, a bilingual teacher and teacher specialist. During the past four years under Principal Rosenbalm's leadership at Sherman, the campus has improved to a B-Rated school from Improvement Required. Her previous work experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Yolanda Black Navarro Middle School. Additionally, she was an administrator at DeChaumes Elementary School, where she assisted in leading the campus to meet all TEA campus distinctions for the 2015- 2017 school years. The campus was also recognized as a Gold Ribbon Winner and rated an A+ on the School Report Card. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston, and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree from University of Houston-Clear Lake. She can be reached at
