    Welcome to Mading Elementary!
    We are thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant and diverse community. As we embark on this journey together, I would like to take a moment to introduce our dedicated principal, Mrs. Tondelyn Johnson. Mrs. Johnson brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering an environment where every student can thrive. Mrs. Johnson began her teaching career at Mading Elementary School, she was here from 2000 – 2010, where she was Teacher of the Year twice, Reading/Language Arts Lead Teacher, and Summer School Lead. She most recently served as the Assistant Principal of Briarmeadow PreK – 8th. Prior to being an Assistant Principal, Mrs. Johnson was a Dyslexia Interventionist for Houston ISD, Wraparound Resource Specialist, and the Principal of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School.
    With a wealth of experience and an unwavering dedication to creating an environment where every student can flourish, Mrs. Johnson is committed to nurturing each scholar's potential for greatness. At the heart of our mission are our core values of integrity, respect, self-determination, and teamwork, which form the foundation of our educational endeavors.
    Mrs. Johnson strongly advocates for the power of community and collaboration and encourages active parental engagement in their children’s education. Your support and involvement play a pivotal role in the success of our students, whether through volunteerism, attendance at school events, or staying informed about your child’s progress.
    At Mading Elementary, we are committed to providing a nurturing and challenging educational experience tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Mrs. Johnson and our dedicated staff will work together to cultivate a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can realize their full potential.
