Principal Kemuel De Castro
Mr. De Castro’s journey in education reflects his steadfast commitment and dedication to developing the leaders of tomorrow. His passion in education has sprung from his parents. Despite their inability to finish formal education, they persevered and invested in the education of their children.
Mr. De Castro earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also pursued his Master of Science in Physics from Texas A&M Commerce. His work ethics and persistence towards a fun learning environment afforded him teacher of the year several times. From assuming leadership roles while in the classroom, his leadership journey evolved from an Instructional Coach in Aldine ISD, Assistant Principal in Houston ISD, and a Director of Curriculum and Instruction in Corsicana ISD.
Embarking on his 20th year in education, Mr. De Castro remains committed with his unwavering belief in the power of education- its power to change the lives of students the way it has changed his.
