I am thrilled as well as honored to join you as the new Ebbert L. Furr High School Principal.  As I step into this role, I am filled with enthusiasm and commitment to continue the Brahman vision of prioritizing academic excellence.  I am a dedicated educator with over 2 decades of experience as a teacher, director, Assistant Principal and most recently, Associate Principal.  I am passionate about serving schools and fostering an atmosphere where young people can reach their maximum potential, while navigating challenges and overcoming barriers. Know that I am a teacher to the core.  High quality instruction and closing achievement gaps are always at the forefront.

As an educational leader, I strongly believe that by establishing a collaborative environment with high expectations, sky's the limit!  There is nothing we cannot accomplish, together.  As we embark on this journey, my vision is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where every member of our school community feels valued and empowered. 

I am eager to welcome the Furr family back to school to kick off the 2024-2025 school year!  Get ready, Brahmans, we are about to TAKE OFF!
