  •  Principal McCorkle

I graduated from Klein Collins High School in Klein ISD. I then went to Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where I studied Interdisciplinary studies and received my teaching certification. I graduated and was hired at Hobby Elementary School in HISD where I spent my entire teaching career and served as the math specialist (2015-2022). I was selected for a TEA grant program that paid for 10 people to attend graduate school to pursue their principal certification while actively interning under a principal (Ms. Kimble), I interned at Hilliard Elementary School the first year of the NES initiative.

I am here to serve and lead Foster to new heights. I am so excited to be here! This is my life’s work and I have a deep passion for entering a community and doing everything to transform the educational experience for the students, families, and staff. I hope you all are excited to have me! My vision for our school is one where excellence and equity go hand in hand. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration, where every student feels valued and empowered to achieve their dreams. By harnessing the power of a supportive community, cutting-edge educational practices, and a relentless focus on student well-being, we will build a learning environment that prepares our students not just for academic success, but for life.
