Welcome to Las Américas Newcomer School!

My name is Dr. José López, and I am honored to introduce myself as the new principal. With great enthusiasm, I join this wonderful community, and I look forward to getting to know each of you. 

At Las Américas, our mission is to empower emergent bilingual students through a commitment to linguistic proficiency, cultural understanding, and academic excellence. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students can thrive academically, linguistically, and socially. This year, we will implement personalized language development programs and culturally responsive practices to ensure that every student feels valued, supported, and prepared for success. Our dedicated team of educators is here to guide and inspire each student to reach their fullest potential.
