Houston ISD and Travis Elementary partner with the Neuhaus Education Center in serving students with dyslexia. Neuhaus is a non-profit that provides training, support, and resources in teaching reading and literacy skills for teachers and schools, supplies information and resources to families, and offers direct services to adult learners.

Utilizing Neuhaus tools and programming, Dyslexia Interventionist Lauren Malone provides services four days a week to students in the Travis program. Our students and Mrs. Malone were chosen by HISD and Neuhaus to be featured in recognition of their learning and impactful work.

We are very proud of Mrs. Malone's efforts and are excited to show off some of the great things taking place in our school!
