The Burrus Band is under the direction of Mr. J. Jackson and has been growing and traveling more and more each year.. Last year we attended ceremonies featured downtown/ at community parks/ and at the rodeo. Also last year we attended the Elementary Music Festival and received a second division rating. This was a great feat because we aim to get first division this year. On a day to day basis, we practice in class and after school to become the best musicians we can before entering middle school to ensure readiness and consistency on the many instruments we offer here at Burrus.
