• Applying to College
     
    SENIORS: If you are planning to apply to any 4-year colleges your goal should be to have your applications completed by THANKSGIVING!! Remember no Pie until you apply! Make sure to get your applications completed as soon as possible and check all admissions and scholarship deadlines for the schools your are applying to. Come to the Go Center to work on applications or get help.
     
    How to Apply 
     
    www.applytexas.org - This website includes all Texas public universities and a large amount of Texas private universities and community colleges. It allows you to copy and paste and application to multiple schools. 
    www.commonapp.org - This website includes a large amount of out-of-state schools as well as some Texas private universities.  
    College/University's Website - If the college you are applying to does not have their application on either one of these websites, check their schools webpage...you will probably find it there. 
     
     
    Application Checklist 
     
    You will need to send the following items to EVERY college you apply to. Remember applying to college is F.A.S.T.
     
    Fee Waiver (come to the Go Center to get these)
    Application
    Scores (send through the collegeboard or act website)
    Transcript (you can request this in the Go Center)
