    GENERAL LIBRARY INFORMATION

    8:15am - 4:00pm
     
    Library Books 
    Library books may be checked out for a two-week period with your student ID.
    Checkouts may be renewed as long as: 
    (1) the book is physically brought back to the library for renewal, and
    (2) there is not a waiting list for the title.
     
    Research Databases
    Students have access to hundreds of reliable online research databases via HISD and Houston Public Library.

    e-Books & Audio Books
    A wide selection of electronic books and audio books may be checked out on your phone or other electronic devices via HISD and the Houston Public Library.

    Library Passes
    Teacher-signed library passes are required for students to come to the library during class time.
     
    SSEP/Advocacy
    Students must acquire an SSEP pass from the librarian (to be signed by your teacher) to come to the library during the second 1/2 of SSEP on Wednesday block days (10:50-11:35).
    On non-block days, students may only come to the library during advo to check out books or print (with a regular teacher-signed pass).
