• Philosophy:

I believe most academic courses found in a high school curriculum prepare learners for success in colleges and universities. While this preparation is important, there are those learners whose needs are more practically met by the curriculum found in vocational courses. Automotive technology program will allow learners to expand in academically oriented courses, while giving those learners a practical, hands-on study which will allow them to begin a satisfactory career upon graduation from high school.

    Mission:

Automotive technology provides the learner the opportunity to have a working knowledge of the problems that are commonly found in domestic and import vehicles. Automotive technology encourages learners to develop leadership qualities to explore employment and entrepreneur opportunities. The learner will be able to analyze these problems, evaluate practical solutions, carry out the most practical methods of automotive repair using state of the art technology, also using and enhancing a process for academic skill and quality workforce initiatives.
