Gifted and Talented (G/T) @ Poe

G/T identified students, both zoned and non-zoned/transfers are clustered in the general education classrooms with other students that are able to handle the rigor of G/T instruction. They receive differentiated G/T instruction in the four core content areas (Language Arts/Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies) from a teacher who is G/T certified. Flexible grouping patterns and independent investigations are employed in the four foundation academic areas.
