Congratulations to the following students who placed in the in- school 2016- 2017 4^th and 5^th grade MLK Jr. Oratory Competition:

3^rd Place- Eris Collins (white ribbon)

1^st Place- Olutobi Adeyeri (blue ribbon)

Olutobi will represent Valley West in the semi- finals on January 6, 2017 competing against 23 other area HISD elementary schools.  We are proud of all the students who participated.  You are all winners!
