Education: I spent my freshman year of college (2005-06) studying and volunteering on a program in Israel. I then attended the University of Texas at Austin (hook ‘em horns!!), graduating in 2009 with a B.A. in Psychology, and minors in honors writing and sociology. In 2011, I went on to receive my Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Certifications: I am certified in Special Education (K-12th grade) and in Early Childhood-6th grade- Generalist.
Professional Experiences: I worked as a speech-language pathologist for Harris County Early Childhood Intervention (2011-2012), and subsequently for a small private practice (2012-2021). I am excited to continue my teaching journey here, at Kolter, where I have been a teacher since 2022!
Hobbies - Interests: I enjoy reading, doing macramé and other crafts, Israeli dance class, and playing Mahjongg with my girlfriends! When the Houston weather permits, I love a good hike or bike ride. Other hobbies include baking, eating at new restaurants, and entertaining! Above all, I love spending time with my husband, our son Noah, and our loving chocolate lab, Elsie!

Professional Experiences: I started my teaching career in 2017 in Houston ISD. For the last seven years, I have worn many hats, some concurrently! I have taught kindergarten, 1st, and 3rd grade and been a 504 coordinator before becoming a dyslexia interventionist. I'm excited to be part of Kolter!
Hobbies - Interests: I love spending time with my family, friends, and fur babies (two Dachshunds). I enjoy watching my daughter play softball and my Godson play basketball and beating them both at a good game of UNO! I enjoy reading, watching movies/television, shopping, drinking coffee or tea, cooking/baking, eating my favorite foods, and MOST OF ALL TRAVELING!
