• To connect your device email to HISD:
     
    1) Go to your devices mail setting and choose the Exchange or Microsoft Exchange option
    2) Use default mail name and use the following key setting names for your setup  
     
     
     
    Apple:
     
    1.Tap on the Settings icon from the home screen.
    2.Scroll down and tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    3.Tap Add Account in the Accounts sections.
    4.Choose Exchange from the available of  accounts.
    5.Enter your email address and password when it is prompted. After that tap Next in the top right corner to continue.
    6.Ticks flash up onscreen will appear if the account set up to tell your information was accepted.
    7.This will then automatically move on to a screen with switches so you can choose what information that account will bring to your new iPhone – Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and maybe other items too, depending on the account. Turn off switches for any items you don’t wish to be on your iPhone before tapping on Save.
     
    Android: 

    Note Contact the Exchange / IT administrator for assistance with server information and credentials.

    Note Account synchronization can take several minutes. The Corporate Calendar (Menu > Corporate Calendar) must be started to initialize the calendar.

    1. From the home screen, select the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).

    1. Enter the exchange email address and password then select Next.

    3. Enter the exchange server settings in the appropriate fields:
      • Domain\Username
      • Password

    4. If desired, ensure Use secure connection (SSL) and Accept all SSL certificates are checked then click Next.

    5. Select the Email checking frequency dropdown.

    7. Select the Amount to synchronize dropdown.

    8. Select the desired amount.

    9. Select the desired account options then select Next.
      Note The account option is enabled if a green check mark is present. 
      • Send email from this account by default.
      • Notify me when email arrives.
      • Sync contacts from this account.

    10. Enter an account name and outgoing message name then select Done
