That’s why we place an emphasis on ensuring our students graduate ready for the world — possessing the characteristics they need to be successful in college and to compete in today’s global workforce.

With the help of community and business partners, as well as leaders from Houston’s largest industries and institutes of higher education, HISD has developed the Global Graduate profile. The profile contains six characteristics or qualities that we want all students to develop and grow during their time in elementary, middle, and high school.
