    Principal Message:
    Welcome! Bienvenidos!

I am Angelica Vega and I am proud to be named the newly appointed Principal of South Early College High School. I know the success that SECHS students have earned since the school began and I promise to continue that legacy of academic success.

I believe in the early college model and how it impacts students and their families' personal and financial trajectory. Throughout my career, my passion has been to encourage, engage and empower students to obtain an education past a high school diploma  because I personally know the difference it will make in their lives. My experience at small specialty high schools has allowed me to get to know students and families at a deeper level, be creative with limited resources and create a community of support for students to meet their academic needs. I believe that at SECHS we have what it takes to have 100% of our students walk the graduation stage with two diplomas. We provide courses that are rigorous, advise students specifically on their degree on their degree path, provide in and out of class academic support and enjoy an energetic campus culture.
