What is the GT program?

    • Revere Middle School's Gifted and Talented Neighborhood Program is designed to meet the needs of G/T students in grades 6-8 at their neighborhood (zoned) school.
    • What is "Gifted and Talented" (G/T)"?
The state of Texas defines a Gifted and Talented student as a student who performs at or shows the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment and who: (1) exhibits high performance capability in an intellectual, creative, or artistic area; (2) possesses an unusual capacity for leadership; or (3) excels in a specific academic field.
    • Students can apply for G/T services at their neighborhood (zoned) school by submitting the Gifted and Talented Neighborhood Programs application to their enrolled campus.
    • Please contact our G/T Coordinator, Selam Fofanah, for more information.
