First Step, If You Have Any Issues with Your Laptop
You should always restart your computer and sign back in to try and fix it. Sometimes updates require restarts for them to take effect, and the computers do not like going too long after an update without restarting. Don't go longer than a week without restarting your computer, smartphone, etc., basically anything with a microchip in it.
Also, if you don’t want to lose any files or info, back them up to cloud storage (or whatever medium you like) before coming to campus. These are good life lessons to get into the habit of doing!
