Daniela Villegas
Hello everyone!
My name is Ms. Daniela Villegas. I am a bilingual pre-kindergarten teacher at Scarborough Elementary School. I graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood - 6th Grade Elementary Education. My favorite book is Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. I have always had a love for travel as well as different cuisines. I do try to be creative with my meals during my free time and absolutely love to bake! Working with children is also a passion of mine. I love working with children to achieve their goals and building their academic abilities. I feel my work can be described as fulfilling, exciting, and overall fun! Pre-K, to me, is so important and valuable in a child’s life. Many skills and abilities needed for further grade levels begin in Pre-K. I encourage all parents of young children to consider Pre-K for their children so that their social and academic learning can be enriched to create a strong foundation for their academic future. My classroom welcomes any child and families in our community to have fun, express themselves, and most importantly, learn and grow!

Hello Parents,
I am so happy to teach Pre-K at Scarborough Elementary. I have been teaching 33 years and I love teaching my students’ children. This really makes me so happy. My degree is in early childhood education and teaching. I love working with my team. It is really amazing to see what children can create and design. You may think Pre-K students are little, but they come up with amazing ideas. My favorite book is by Dr. Suess, Oh, the Places You'll Go!. Pre-K can do many different things, and this is the time to expose them to many ideas. Pre-K is a great time for science discovery and trying new things. The messier the better is my motto. When I am not at work, I love being outside at our new park walking and reading new books. I love being with my husband and going to NYC to see my family.
