  • Growing Beyond Earth

The Growing Beyond Earth Project has partnered with NASA to advance their research on growing plants in space.  Since the start of this project in 2016, student findings have influenced plant selection and harvesting techniques implemented in NASA's vegetable production system, abroad the International Space Station - ISS.

Our students collect important data that NASA plant scientists will use to determine the best crops to grow in space.

  • Monarch Heroes

Monarch Heroes is a program through the National Wildlife Federation - NWF dedicated to helping schools plan and create a garden for monarch butterflies. Our mission at Deady as Monarch Heroes is to create a pollinator habitat to continue the health, sustainability and research of the monarch butterfly and other pollinators.

  • Field Experiences

Through our partnerships, we are able to give our students authentic field experiences where they are exposed to various careers and engaging learning experiences.
