• BEGINNERS

    Students with no prior experience do not need to audition. Beginners will automatically be replaced in the Sinfonietta Orchestra or Mariachi II. Prior to the beginning of the year, beginners will need to meet with the director to select an instrument. School instruments are limited, so please register early. This can be done by scanning the QR code or emailing at dwhite11@houstonisd.org.

    EXPERIENCED

    For those that have at least one year of experience, you qualify to audition for the Symphony, Chamber, Philharmonic, or Mariachi I ensemble. The level of solo selected should demonstrate your current level of performance.
