Magdalena Villa has been a student-centered educator and leader for twenty-two years, possessing a strong commitment to student achievement.  She began her educational career in the Houston Independent School District at Sylvan Rodriguez Elementary.  She has served the school community in different capacities,  including Associate Teacher, Teacher Assistant, Bilingual, ESL, and Dual Language Teacher, Instructional Coordinator, Teacher Specialist, Assistant Principal, and most recently, Principal.  Ms. Villa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and an Educational Leadership Master's Degree at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.
