    AP Mack

    Carlas Mack is an experienced educator dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. With over 6 years of experience in education, Ms. Mack brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for student success to her role as Assistant Principal.

    Mack has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th Grade Math/Science and previously served as a Data-Driven Instructional Specialist in Houston ISD before her role as Assistant Principal.

    Mack holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology; she is deeply attuned to students' social and emotional needs. Her commitment to continuous improvement drives her to collaborate with teachers, parents, and students to implement innovative programs and initiatives.

    As Assistant Principal, Ms. Mack is focused on promoting a safe and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. She believes in cultivating strong relationships with students, families, and staff to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

    Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Mack enjoys spending time with her children, exploring new eateries in Houston, and volunteering in the community with her Sorors. She is excited to impact the lives of students at Bruce Elementary positively.
