The mission of DeChaumes Elementary is to work closely and cooperatively with our parents, community members, and staff members so that our students can become productive and responsible citizens in this ever-changing global and technological society.  While working with all the stakeholders, DeChaumes Elementary will value and honor the individual diversity of our students and parents.  We will provide meaningful support and reinforcement for academic achievement for our students.  We will establish high expectations for our students so they can grow academically, emotionally, socially, physically, and culturally.  A supportive and non-threatening environment will be established in order to encourage students to achieve the expectations, objectives, and criteria set forth by DeChaumes Elementary and Houston Independent School District.
