School Uniforms

Students are expected to wear appropriate uniforms Monday – Friday. Pants are expected to be worn at the waistline. Boys must wear belts if pants/shorts waist is loose fitting. Shorts/Skirts/Dresses are acceptable, but must be no more than three (3) inches above the knee. Students must wear shoes that are closed at the toe and heel. No flip flops or shoes with wheels are allowed.
It is important that every student at Lockhart wears the correct uniform each day they are present. When a student is out of dress code, they are breaking a school rule as outlined in the HISD student code of conduct. Please make sure that your child/children wear the correct school uniform everyday.
Failure to wear the required school uniform will lead to disciplinary action. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact the school. Please ensure your child is in uniform daily. Jeans are only permitted on Fridays with a Lockhart spirit shirt.
