As many of you know, Baker handles beginning of the year school supplies a little differently than other schools. INSTEAD of providing the typical list of school supplies for each grade level, we ask that you pay a $50 supply fee through our PTO OR request a supply fee waiver if needed.

The supply fee is collected by the Baker PTO for each student to cover the direct costs of classroom supplies and materials unique to the Montessori classroom. This includes everything from replacement Montessori materials to basic classroom materials. This Supply Fee prevents the teachers from having to pay out of pocket for classroom supplies and prevents each family from having to spend money on school supplies individually. Each teacher receives an annual budget from the PTO for supplies which are paid for by your supply fee.
