    Mr. Rodriguez is the Director of Bands at Holland Middle School. He started teaching in 1993 and started the Holland Band in 2008.
     
     
    Mr. Rodriguez earned his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from West Texas State University and his Master of Arts in Conducting Degree from West Texas A&M University (same school, new name). He has taught in the greater Houston area his entire career.  He is originally from El Paso, Texas where he graduated from Bel Air High School.
     

    His wife is an incredibly successful theater director in Katy ISD.  They have a son, a daughter, 3 cats and several other pets including 2 baby turtles named Sheldon and Thor.
