David Petty(DPETTY@houstonisd.org) is the head baseball coach and is in his 21st year at Heights HS.  The Bulldogs were the 18-6A District Champions in 2023, and made it to the bi-district round of the playoffs, finishing with an 11-1 district record an overall record of 22-9.  During the past 20 seasons, Heights has 4 district championships and there have been 17 playoff appearances, and 7 trips to the Area Round of the state playoffs.  Heights has a proud history of excellence on the diamond, and continues to draw in some of Houston's finest young baseball talent.  Excellence in all aspects of school is not expected but demanded.
