A strong background in science and math can prepare students for future study in many career areas. The Wainwright Science and Math Magnet Program gives students an opportunity to do experiments in a science laboratory, study live animals, engage in many types of mathematical projects, and gain computer literacy. The primary objective of the Magnet program is to provide a quality educational experience which encompasses a strong academic program and a highly specialized enrichment program in science and math.

Magnet students travel through their daily schedule with other Magnet students and receive additional instruction in Math and Science.
