• TEA has just launched a free online resource library for educators and parents called Texas Gateway (www.texasgateway.org).  The site includes resources that were previously posted on TEA's online learning community Project Share along with additional resources designed to strengthen classroom instruction and help every student succeed.  The new resources include videos, interactive activities, formative assessments, professional development courses, and other classroom support materials.

Texas Gateway resources align with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).  Many of the current resources focus on middle school and high school ELA, math, science, and social studies, but new materials will continue to be added throughout the year.  Each resource contains a lesson or series of lessons that introduce a new idea or skill followed by opportunities to practice and apply the new learning. The site also provides professional development courses for educators.
