The English Department at GLEC focuses on improving students' abilities to read and write. We also make every effort to instill a love of the language in our students.

 

Spiraled into our instruction is the inclusion of ESL instructional strategies to assist our English language learners with language acquisition. At GLEC, we value the cultural diversity of our student population and we work tirelessly to assist our ESL students with transitioning into fluency while maintaining a firm grasp on their own cultural identities, including their native languages.
