Futures Academy of Graphic Design
The Futures Academy is a dual enrollment model that enables Kashmere students to fulfill high school graduation requirements while simultaneously earning industry certifications, college credits, and an Associate of Applied Science degree by August after their senior year.
Earn college credits
In partnership with Houston Community College, students will earn a AAS or Certificate the summer after graduation.
High-demand, high-growth career option
Upon successful completion of the Futures Academy program, students will be qualified for entry into high-demand, high-growth jobs in the engineering field. Kashmere Futures Academy students take rigorous college courses, utilize technology, participate in field lessons and make connections with industry partners, all while still in high school.
Required Academic Classes
Students will complete four years of dedicated classes in Social Studies & Language Arts, Mathematics, English, and Science.
Dual-Credit Enrollment and/or Advanced Placement
Students will have the opportunity for Advanced Placement and Dual -Credit Enrollment academic classes throughout their high school career.
Upon completion students will earn:
- Industry certifications
- College credit
- Level I Certificate
