I am so happy to be a part of the Roberts school family! I am a Texas A&M University graduate where I studied Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading Instruction. My main goal as a classroom teacher is to create a safe environment where students are challenged to grow daily. I believe in learning along side my students as they explore and achieve their goals. I am excited to begin a new year of learning in my third grade class! Along with teaching, my other passions include spending time with my family, running and being adventurous outdoors.

I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Dance. Shortly after, I began teaching ballet and assisting in pre-k classes. In the meantime, I was working on my masters degree at Texas A&M. During the last year of my masters program, I taught 3rd grade at a small private school. Upon receiving my Masters in Education in 2015, I moved to Houston and began working at Roberts. I have loved every minute of Roberts. The international mindedness and diversity create such a wonderful work environment.  
 
Eve Harbour

Hi everyone! I'm Eve Harbour and I am so excited to be joining the Roberts community for my 3rd year of teaching. I have a BA in Education from University of St. Thomas. I got married in October and recently moved home to Houston with my husband and two dogs. Outside of teaching school, I teach Zumba and other group fitness classes. I also love gluten free cooking and eating as well as all things Halloween related. (My wedding was Halloween themed!) I am looking forward to a school year filled with learning, fun, and community!

I completed my degree at the University of Houston as a student teacher right here at Roberts Elementary! I have been a 4th grade teacher at Roberts for several years and have enjoyed every minute. My favorite subject to teach is Texas History. When I am not in the classroom, I’m traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.  
 
Kelley Kyle

Hi friends! I'm Kelley Kyle, and am thrilled to be joining the Roberts team. This marks my eleventh year teaching, including having taught kindergarten and first grade. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Houston, and prior to teaching, I worked for a variety of non-profit organizations assisting families and children as a counselor/social worker/therapist in the Houston and Boulder, CO areas. Fun facts: This gal has traveled to over 14 countries (and plan to add more), is a devout animal lover, and has an exceptionally spoiled dog named Sam. My passion and heart lie within the classroom, and I look forward to having a fabulous and successful year of learning! Let's make it the best year yet.

Greetings! I am Latasha Owens. I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas but I have lived in Houston for about ten years. This will be my fifth year teaching. I moved from KIPP Houston Public Schools back to my home of HISD. I am elated to be a new addition to the Roberts family! My daughter will be joining me as a Kindergarten student and we are both so excited! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, journaling, DIY crafts, and learning about home improvement. I look forward to a riveting year!
