Welcome to the T.H. Rogers Speech and Debate Program, where students discover the art of persuasive communication, critical thinking, and competitive excellence. Our program is dedicated to empowering students with the skills to articulate their ideas confidently, engage in thoughtful debate, and excel in public speaking.

• Comprehensive Curriculum: Our program offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes various forms of public speaking, debate formats, and argumentation techniques. Students learn the fundamentals of speech delivery, rhetoric, and debate strategy.

• Competitive Excellence: We provide students with opportunities to participate in local, regional, and national speech and debate tournaments. Our program is designed to prepare students for competition with rigorous practice sessions and expert coaching.

• Diverse Events: Students have the opportunity to compete in a variety of events, including Public Forum Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Extemporaneous Speaking, Original Oratory, and Interpretation events. This variety allows students to explore different aspects of speech and debate and find their niche.

• Team Collaboration: In addition to individual events, students are encouraged to collaborate and support one another. Teamwork and peer feedback are integral parts of our program, fostering a sense of community and mutual respect.
