Mr. David Gatlin is in his first year as Theatre Arts Director for Audrey Lawson Middle school.

He is a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where he received his degree in Acting and Directing under the guidance of the legendary C. Lee Turner. Has both directed and acted in numerous plays throughout the Houston area.  He believes that by introducing students to theatre, you present them with a special opportunity to find their voice while also developing a love and appreciation for the arts. He is very excited to be a member of the Lawson family and looks forward to producing many must see productions for the school and community to enjoy.
