Every year we invite our parents to volunteer and get involved at the school. If you are interested in helping out, please call (713) 778-3490 to speak with Mrs. Lasprilla, who will be our Volunteer Coordinator this year.
Tardiness and truancy will not be tolerated at Edward White Elementary School. The beginning of the day is extremely important to students and teachers. When a child arrives late, the students and teacher are inconvenienced and the late student is unaware of announcements and instruction that has already begun. In addition, arriving on time is a habit that we work to establish with all children at a young age. Please make every effort to have your child at school on time daily. Frequent offenders will be referred to the school social worker so that appropriate action can be initiated to improve the situation. Please note, perfect attendance awards will not be given to students who are tardy.

Dress Code
- Khaki or dress pants, walking shorts, jumper, or skirt. The only shorts that are permitted are navy blue walking shorts. Shorts must be uniform style.
- Collared shirts or blouse (Shirts and blouses tucked in at waist).
- Ed White colored Field Day shirts including navy Field Day shirts may be worn only on Fridays.
