    Hill

    Cobilyn Hill is currently in hert second year as the North Forest Head Girls Basketball Coach and Physical Education Educator. She has coached girls’ basketball and has her own non-profit Women’s Basketball Organization; Women’s Basketball Sports Society.

    In high school, she played varsity basketball at Eisenhower High School, Aldine ISD, for coach Anthony Watkins. She was a three-year letter winner for the Lady Eagles. Her team achieved a record of 87-14 during her tenure. She was a part of three District Championship and three playoff appearances. She earned First-Team All-District selection in 2007, Second-Team All-District honoree in 2006, and Texas Basketball Coaches Association All-Star honors. During her senior season, she earned All-Tournament Team honors in Conroe, Aldine and Willis invitational tournaments. She was ranked as the No. 159 player in the country by the All-Star Girls Report, a top recruiting service for women's basketball. She was also named as one of the top-30 centers in the U.S. and one of the top players in Texas (2007).Coach Hill also participated in track and field for two seasons where she threw shotput (2004-05, 2006-07), earning District Champion honors in both of those years. She was named to the National Honor Roll (2007), also named to Who's Who Among High School Students.

    Coach Hill began her college journey at University of Houston (2007-2009) where she emerged as one of the top freshmen in the region, earning Conference-USA All-Freshman Team accolades. After two seasons at UH, Coach Hill then transferred to University of Arkansas Fort Smith (2010-2012) where she was named Heartland Conference Co-Player of the Year. She also earned Heartland Conference Player of the Week twice, First Round All-Conference, aCoach Hill nd All-Academic Athlete of the Year. Coach Hill is excited to join North Forest High School and is prepared to build a successful program by hard work and dedication of her players.
