I enjoy helping students build the skills they need to rekindle and foster a love of reading and writing. Building relationships with students, parents, teachers, and administrators is very important for me.  Preparing, guiding, and supporting students through the steps and decisions involved with higher education and career choice is embedded in my everyday teaching. As Media Specialist at Jones Futures Academy, I have created an environment in the library for students to feel safe and encouraged in order to succeed and reach their potential.  I am committed to the notion that ALL students hear the message and receive the support to succeed in school, make college possible, and be prepared for the work industry after graduation.
