I am excited to be back on the Northside and to be part of the Fonville team! I am a proud byproduct of Houston ISD and Aldine ISD. After my K-12 education, I went on to receive my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (4-8 Math/Science) from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Education Leadership from Harvard University.

 

Prior to starting my role as an assistant principal, I served as a dual language middle school science teacher for five years. I recognize that student success depends on factors beyond academics, such as basic needs and stability. I have dedicated my life to helping underserved youth and creating a community that includes self-advocating students and parents. At Fonville, which nurtures the next generation of professionals, I believe it is vital to build strong, diverse connections. I am committed not only to being a part of students’ growth, but also to supporting students and their families in any way I can.
