What is the dress code at AIMS?
Students at AIMS are expected to wear a uniform Monday through Friday. Occasionally, non-uniform days will be announced.
Mondays - Thursdays
- TOPS: AIMS polo shirt (embroidered with the school logo) in dark green, white, or black
- BOTTOMS: Khaki, Navy Blue, Black, or Gray pants, shorts, skorts, skirts, or jumpers. Jeans are not allowed Mon. - Thurs.
Fridays:
- TOPS: AIMS Polo or AIMS Spirit Shirt
- BOTTOMS: Jeans
Daily Dress Code Expectations:
- Sagging pants are prohibited.
- Skirts and shorts must be no shorter than four fingers above the knee, even when worn with leggings.
- Nylon fleece, sweatpants, pajama bottoms, and workout pants/leggings as pants are not permitted.
- Hoodies are allowed, however, hoods cannot be worn in the hallway.
- Hats are not allowed inside the building.
- Jeans must not have tears, rips, holes (even if designed that way).
- Shirts must not be cut or altered in any manner.
- Open-toed shoes, house shoes, slippers, crocs, flip-flops, sandals, or any footwear without a hard sole or back are prohibited.
- Only solid colored jackets/hoodies are allowed (no designs, logos, images, or patterns please).
- Midriff blouses are never permitted.
School Spirit Days: Jeans are permitted for the students who participate in the spirit days.
- First Monday of the Month: College/University Spirit Day
- Last Monday of the Month: House Spirit Day
**Students are expected to wear closed-toe shoes with socks daily. This requirement is to help prevent our students from injury during their daily physical activities.
