Scarborough's World Language Magnet Program serves students who live outside the school's zoned area. Magnet students are transfer students with a strong interest in studying foreign languages and commit to learning two different languages.
Language Courses and Curriculum:
Spanish (Non-Native Speaker, Native Speaker, AP, HCC Dual Credit)
Japanese (HCC Dual Credit with SHS Instructor)
Korean (HCC Dual Credit with SHS Instructor)
*ASL (beginning Fall 2026)
Dual Language (Spanish and English) Content Classes:
Science (9th-12th), Social Studies (9th-12th), and

Students will study a combination of 2 World Languages: one major language and one minor language.

Students must complete 6 world language on-campus credits.

Students must reach Level 3, plus a minimum of 1 year of minor language.

Students must maintain a 75 or higher average in all classes.

Students must maintain exemplary conduct and attendance.
