My name is Sheena Lopez and am proud to be serving as a dual language 1st grade teacher at Memorial Elementary. I attended college at the University of Houston Downtown and received a degree in Bilingual Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. I hope to start my master’s soon to further my education. Immediately after graduation I started my teaching career. I am very passionate about education and growing each day, which is why I enjoy learning every day myself and hope to one day be able to guide new and upcoming educators to help grow our students. During my time off I am usually traveling, watching movies, reading books, and making awesome memories with my family and friends.
