Technical Theatre Magnet Auditions

Students interested in the Technical Theatre Program at Pershing must bring an original sketch of a set design (front view in color/ground plan) or costume design. These designs must be for a play or musical. Students should be prepared to explain their design concept and choices they made in the interview. 

Tech Theatre Rubric:

• Creativity of Design= 50 Points
• Execution of Design= 50 Points
• Survey (filled out at the interview)= 50 Points
• In-Person Interview= 50 Points
• In-Person Art Exercise= 100 Points

Total= 300 points
