Ms. Casanova was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Sam Houston State University to become a history teacher at the secondary level. She has a strong commitment to service and to becoming the best person that she can be. She is very excited about meeting and serving her students. She says she can't wait to see what progress they can make as they work together throughout the year.

Ms. Casanova loves dining out and shopping, and she has a soft spot in her heart for the Astros!
