Welcome to the ASSISTANT principal page!
Dear T.H. Rogers Community,Hello! I’m Christopher Wolman, and I am delighted to step into my new role as Assistant Principal at T.H. Rogers. I am honored to be here at one of the most prestigious K-8 schools in the State of Texas. My career journey has been anything but ordinary, spanning roles from project manager for a software company to becoming a certified wine sommelier, to enthusiastic DIYer. However, my true calling lies in education, where I strive to be an inspiring role model for our students.
Growing up on the West Coast of the United States, I lived in California, Washington, and Hawaii. I moved more than 20 times and attended over 10 different schools between kindergarten and high school. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on education and the importance of adaptability and resilience.
I attended college at the University of Washington in Seattle, where I earned my Bachelor's degree. I furthered my education with a Master’s in Education from Antioch University in Seattle. Additionally, I obtained my principal certification from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
My career in education spans various environments, including public schools, charter schools, high-performing schools, and Title-1 schools. I am passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives and am committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment at T.H. Rogers.
In my free time, you can find me spending quality time with my family. I enjoy surfing, snowboarding and ski trips with my family, mountain biking, golfing, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
If you ever need anything, please feel free to reach out to me. I am always open to connecting with fellow educators, parents, and community members. Together, we can ensure that our students receive the best education and support they need to succeed.
Thank you for welcoming me into the T.H. Rogers community. I look forward to meeting and working with each of you.
Sincerely,
